Kani toh katkam ka pyntip na u ma A.C.Rymbai President ka MSSASA-JHD.

Revision of minimum wages

Shillong: In a notification issued, the Government of Meghalaya has revised the minimum wages payable to the employees under the 28 Schedule of Employments with effect from 1st April, 2015. This was informed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Labour Department.

The daily minimum wage is Rs. 170/- for unskilled workers, Rs. 181/- for semi-skilled workers, Rs. 191/- for skilled workers and Rs. 212/- for highly-skilled workers. (MIPR)

List of beneficiaries under NFSA

Shillong: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills has informed that the list of beneficiaries under NFSA 2013 has been displayed at all the Block Development Offices. Claims and objections will be entertained in the respective BDO offices till the 21st October, 2015.

Further, claims and objections will be accepted only in a prescribed format available at the office of the concerned BDO. (MIPR)
