Shillong : The Taxation Department, Government of Meghalaya has w.e.f. 27th May, 2016 added Luxury Tax and Tax on sale of Motor Spirit and Diesel for online payment through 5 (five) empanelled Banks including State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, United Bank of India, Vijaya Bank and IDBI Bank in addition to the already existing online payment of tax under MVAT and CST Acts.
The dealers are required to use their MVAT TIN No. to login to the department website and in the e-Services to click on online payment of taxes.
Dealers may contact the officers of the Department on the contact numbers available in the website in case of any difficulty.
