Ampati : The Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) will work in tandem with concerned district administrations to formulate a plan restricting the use of toxic and non-biodegradable substances like plastic to reverse environmental degradation. This was stated by GHADC Chairman Boston Marak during the observance of World Environment Day at Ampati Degree College organized by the Garo Student’s Union in collaboration with the South West Garo Hills District Administration on Monday.
The gathering themed “Join the race to make the world a better place” was attended by close to 700 students from in and around Ampati.
