Shillong : Applications in prescribed format are invited from General, SC/ST students who are permanent residents of Meghalaya studying in vocational/technical courses within and outside the State for the year 2016-17 for the North Eastern Council Book Grant and Stipend. Students who secure 60% marks and above for Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste and 75% above for General are eligible to apply for this scholarship
The students should produce PRC obtained from the Deputy Commissioner of the District in which the candidate is a permanent resident along with their relevant documents.
Students studying within the State are to collect the forms (Fresh & Renewal) from their respective institutions, whereas students studying outside the State may collect the forms from the office of the Director of Higher & Technical Education, Room No. 206 (A), Meghalaya, Shillong.
All Principals submitting the application forms should submit a list of applicants along with the soft copy of the same. The last date of submission of application forms is the 30th November, 2016. (MIPR)
