Shillong : The College of Nursing, NEIGRIHMS observed the 4th Graduation Day cum 7th Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony at a function held at its Auditorium in the city today with Meghalaya Governor V.Shanmuganathan gracing the event as Chief Guest.

While the Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony signifies the renewal of commitment not only as student nurses but also as cheer leaders to bring joy, hope and peace to the sick, needy and distressed; the Graduation Day is a moment where graduates take to the nursing profession as frontline management personnel in the public or private sector to serve the sick and suffering irrespective of status or disposition.

It was a moment of joy for the parents and relatives of the 45 Nursing Graduates of 2012-2016 Batch in attendance to see their wards receiving their Degree Certificates & Mementoes; and the honor for having excelled in Nursing Education. The Top Three Position holders of the Batch were also felicitated with cash awards on the occasion.
