Tura : The District Administration, West Garo Hills in collaboration with the District Sports Office, Tura today organized a short run of about 2 Km starting from Chandmary playground and covering Ringrey Bridge, District Auditorium, Old Civil Hospital, MDC Hostel, AOC Hawakhana, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Ringrey and back to Chandmary field.
It may be mentioned that this non-competitive run is being organized to create awareness about the ideals and values of Olympic Movement as well as to recognize and acknowledge the selfless services extended by thousands of officials and volunteers for the conduct of successful and peaceful Olympic Games every four years.
