MGNREGA wage rate revised

Shillong : The Ministry of Rural Development (MORD) has increased the wage rate of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) job card holders in Meghalaya from Rs.163 to Rs.169. The revised wage rate will be effective from 1st April, 2016. This was informed by the Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Community and Rural Development and Mission Director, State Rural Employment Society, Meghalaya, Shillong. (MIPR)
